Talbert Insurance Services: Taking a Different Approach

“We take a different approach to insurance,” says Larry Talbert, owner of Talbert Insurance Services.

As an independent insurance agency, Talbert Insurance Services offers coverage from more than 30 difference carriers. They shop the carriers for the best coverage and the best rates, but the focus is always on the customer.

“We demand the best for them. We save money for our customers, and make sure they’re protected,” says Talbert.  We’re able to leverage our longevity and the volume of business we do to the benefit of our customers, he adds.

Serving the region for more than 30 years, the team at Talbert’s offers home, auto and life insurance, plus commercial insurance for all types of businesses.  Their knowledgeable staff has more than 100 years of experience and is wholly committed to client services.

“Insurance doesn’t have to be boring. We want to learn about our clients’ lives. Our customers become our friends,” says Talbert.  “Your car, your home, your business and your life all require protection. Once we understand your unique needs, we will get to work to craft an effective and affordable protection plan.”

Keeping their service personal is a big priority for Talbert. “I hate voice mail. If you call us, you’re going to talk to a real person.”  His team knows that emergencies always seem to happen after business hours, so you can expect a quick response at nights and on weekends, too.  “When someone needs us, we know it’s important.”

Voted Best of Gwinnett for five years running now, Talbert Insurance Services was also recognized by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce as a semi-finalist for the Small Business Pinnacle Award.

Talbert, who’s known in the community for his larger than life personality, is preparing for a very special experience. He’s going back to the classroom – to “Santa School.”  It’s a family affair – his wife will be Mrs. Claus, and two sons will eventually participate as elves.  He looks forward to combining the magic of Santa with his own magical touches for community outreach projects.
