My name is LaTasha Baxter, I am originally from Michigan, I have lived in Georgia since 2014.
I started working for Allstate in Rockdale County in a family-owned agency in 2014 as a receptionist and in 2015 became a licensed agent. I left Allstate to broaden my experience with the independent market and to focus more on commercial insurance.
I started working at Talbert Insurance in November of 2019 as an Account Manager/CSR. In my short time working here, the staff has already become more like a family than just co-workers.
I am a mother of two young adult children (boy, girl) and I have a beautiful granddaughter.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, road trips, reading books, and watching movies.
Commercial Lines CSR
I have been licensed in property/casualty insurance since 2013. I started working for Georgia Farm Bureau in Jackson County, focusing on personal lines insurance. After leaving Farm Bureau, I worked as a Personal Lines CSR/Producer for 2 independent agencies before coming to Talbert Insurance in Nov 2018. In 2015, I became licensed in life/health insurance also.
Commercial Lines is very demanding and produces the highest volume of premium within an agency. Therefore, I must consistently deliver optimal service to retain a high percentage of these accounts. I must always be productive and knowledgeable in every aspect of the business in order to work with the large, intricate, commercial lines accounts and is equally important to have great relationships with so many different underwriters. Because there are also many niche markets in commercial lines, it takes someone experienced to master these different areas. I value the fact that I can handle such pressures and am able to work in such a diverse environment.
?I love building a rapport with my commercial clients because I can meet new and interesting people which builds trust. Once the trust is established, they can feel reassured that their businesses are adequately and properly covered.
